Privacy at KeyShield

Your privacy is paramount to us. KeyShield is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or sensitive information you provide to our tools.

What We Don't Collect

  • Passwords: No passwords are ever stored, logged, or transmitted
  • Personal Data: We don't collect names, emails, or personal information
  • Usage Data: We don't track how you use our tools
  • Cookies: We don't use tracking cookies or analytics
  • IP Addresses: We don't log IP addresses or device information

How KeyShield Works

Client-Side Processing: All encryption, decryption, and data transformation happens directly in your web browser. Your computer does all the work.

No Server Communication: We never send your data to our servers. Nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to download or share it.

Open Source: Our code is transparent and can be audited by security professionals to verify our privacy claims.

Works Offline: Most tools function completely offline. Once loaded, you don't need an internet connection to use them.

Minimal Necessary Information

In certain limited cases, we may collect only the following minimal information:

  • Contact Form Data: If you contact us, we store your message temporarily to respond
  • Server Logs: Standard server access logs that don't identify you personally

Security Measures

  • HTTPS: All connections to KeyShield use HTTPS encryption
  • AES-256 Encryption: Text encryption uses industry-standard AES-256
  • No Vulnerable Dependencies: We regularly audit our code for vulnerabilities
  • Regular Updates: We keep our libraries and frameworks up to date

No Third Parties

KeyShield does not share, sell, or disclose information to any third parties. We don't use advertising networks, analytics services, or affiliate programs that would require sharing data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when this policy was last revised. Continued use of KeyShield after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
